Probably just getting used to it...

and so it doesn't seem like a big deal when we get about 8-10 inches of snow. But it was great we didn't lose power!

That gizmo on the railing is the squirrel feeder and they have informed me that it needs filling.

I just finished a piece of fabric using the Shibori PVC pipe wrapping technique using Jacquard Textile Paint and Liquitex Thalo Blue/Green. The Liquitex color is...Brown. That name could have used a bit more imagination, but it is brown. The finished result was great and showed lots of depth and variety in the patterning. If you go back a few posts you'll see what I did.

The piece is about 19x23"

This shows the variety in the pattern.
It's back to washing yards of new fabric so I'll talk to you soon.

  2. Rain here today and I have to drive for a few hours on the highway. Bah! Maybe it will decrease the dirty mountains of snow still hanging around...but I am not happy about it.

Your shibori is gorgeous - I never think of doing it with paint.
