after a couple of days posting about the "Not Your Grandma's Fiber Show" being currently shown at the Janice Charach Gallery has me inspired by the exhibit. So back to the workroom (called basement in real life). I am working on painting cheesecloth. Cheesecloth is such a great addition to art quilts. Right now I'm in the riotous color stage. Next will be some browns, grays, etc.
these are 10"x36" and from top to bottom, yellow, red, orange and fuschia. |
I guess we're doing a left to right on this photo: blue/green, light green, purple, and of course, fuschia. http://fiberplace.etsy.com/ |
